Fine Arts
Choir, band, strings, drama, art and speech — and the annual Fine Arts Competition that brings fundamental Christian schools together.
Music at State Line
Instruments in fourth grade, choir from the start.
The music program offers an elementary choir, a junior high choir, and a varsity choir. The orchestra program begins as early as fourth grade, where students can start with band or stringed instruments and join the orchestra by junior high.
Students perform throughout the year — elementary programs, the K-4 and K-5 Christmas programs, the junior high and high school music program, and the band and strings program each spring.

The Fine Arts Competition
A challenge toward excellence.
The State Line Christian School Fine Arts Competition has been organized to provide a challenge toward excellence among students of selected fundamental Christian schools. Our goal is to use this competition to encourage and develop young people’s talents to further their ministry for the Lord.

Choirs & Music
Choir, ensemble and instrumental categories for junior high and high school students.

Speech & Drama
Speech categories and dramatic performance, judged against published standards.

Art
Student artwork is displayed and judged across multiple media and grade divisions.

Drama
On stage every year.
Drama is offered as an elective beginning in ninth grade and continues through the senior year. Students build sets, run tech and perform a full production for the school and the wider community.
Competitions & contests
Beyond the Fine Arts Competition, State Line hosts a Spelling Bee and a Bible Bee for participating students.
